Advanced Skin Booster & Biostimulator Masterclass

Advanced Skin Booster & Biostimulator Masterclass

1. Course Aim

The primary aim of this 2-day intensive Masterclass is to equip licensed aesthetic practitioners with the advanced theoretical knowledge and practical proficiency necessary to safely and effectively integrate a diverse portfolio of cutting-edge dermal bio-stimulators and skin boosters including Polynucleotides, HA, CaHA, and Amino Acids alongside Mesotherapy techniques, into their clinical practice for comprehensive skin quality and rejuvenation treatments across the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

2. Course Objectives

Delegates, upon completion of the course, will be able to:

  1. Safety & Anatomy: Critically review and apply advanced facial and extra-facial anatomy relevant to skin booster injections, with a specific focus on layer identification, depth control, and mitigating vascular and neural risks in key treatment areas.

  2. Product Science: Differentiate the mechanism of action, rheological properties, and ideal patient indications for the four major classes of injectable skin biostimulators (PN, HA, CaHA, and Amino Acids), and understand the theory of PLLA and Autologous Biostimulators (PRP/PRF).

  3. Treatment Planning: Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that strategically select the most appropriate single agent or combination therapy based on the patient's skin quality, indication (e.g., periorbital, neck, hands), and desired outcomes.

  4. Injection Technique: Perform precision injection techniques, including BAP, linear threading, micro-bolus, and manual mesotherapy, tailored to the specific product and anatomical sub-site, including techniques suitable for skin laxity on the neck and décolletage.

  5. Complication Management: Recognize, prevent, and effectively manage both common and rare complications associated with all five practical treatment modalities, adhering to strict safety protocols.

3. Learning Outcomes (Measurable)

A. Knowledge and Understanding (Cognitive)

Upon successful completion of this Masterclass, delegates will be able to:

  1. Distinguish between the biological effects of dermal hydration (HA) versus collagen bio-stimulation (PN, CaHA, Amino Acids) and compare their theoretical mechanisms to PLLA and PRP/PRF.

  2. State the precise dilution protocols for using Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) as a skin booster, and justify the clinical rationale for using this technique on the neck and hands.

  3. Describe the mechanism by which Polynucleotides (PN) interact with fibroblasts and explain the differences in injection patterns required for the periorbital area versus the décolletage.

  4. Identify and articulate the necessary emergency protocols (including hyaluronidase use and referral guidelines) for managing complications across all treated anatomical sites.

  5. Critically evaluate the scientific rationale for staging and layering different skin boosters to create comprehensive treatment protocols for multi-area rejuvenation.

B. Skills and Application (Practical)

Upon successful completion of the practical sessions, delegates will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate safe and accurate injection of Polynucleotides using specific protocols for the periorbital area.

  2. Execute a full-face protocol using HA Skin Boosters (e.g., BAP technique) demonstrating precise depth and volume control.

  3. Perform Mesotherapy treatments using both multi-puncture manual techniques, demonstrating accurate product deposition across areas like the face or neck.

  4. Formulate and perform a synergistic treatment plan (e.g., staging PN or CaHA) on a live model, demonstrating proficiency across multiple products and anatomical sites (face, neck, or hands).

  5. Maintain accurate and legally compliant clinical documentation, including pre-treatment assessments, informed consent, injection charting, and post-treatment instructions for both facial and extra-facial treatments.
